The manual contains a unique serial number registration sticker. Registering that number via the link in the manual is how Zpao notifies you of free safety replacements (e.g., upgraded brake pads or a controller box cover).
Power dies for 1 second, then returns. Cause: Loose connection in the 9-pin motor connector (located near the rear axle). Fix: Unplug the yellow/black junction. Apply dielectric grease. Zip-tie the cable to the chainstay to prevent vibration. This fix is not in any Zpao manual but works on 90% of cases.
