If you cannot find a native DipTrace library download for a rare component, you can import files from other CAD programs using DipTrace's built-in conversion tools.
Crucially, the 3D models are included in the standard installation packages. To use the 3D Preview module in the PCB Layout editor effectively, you must download and install the 3D models separately. The official 3D libraries contain a substantial collection, including 8,079 STEP models and 3,513 VRML 2.0 models for 3D visualization and export, with the most recent update from September 12, 2024.
