At its heart, a WLED preset is a lightweight JSON configuration that saves the state of your LED strips. Think of it as a "scene" that captures the effect type, the color palette, the speed and intensity (SX and IX parameters), segment settings, and brightness. Since the release of WLED 0.11.0, the preset system has undergone a major overhaul, allowing users to save up to 250 named presets and store them in a presets.json file on the controller's internal filesystem.
