Steven Nugraha Kaligis, known affectionately as Tepeng, was the founder and lead vocalist of the Indonesian reggae band Steven & Coconut Treez. Born on January 3, 1975, in Pekan Baru, Indonesia, Steven developed a deep love for reggae music by listening to legends like Bob Marley. His inspiration led him to form the band in Jakarta in 2005 with seven members: Steven N. Kaligis on vocals, A. Ray Daulay on guitar, Teguh Wicaksono on guitar, Rival Himran on bass, Iwan on keyboards, "Opa" Tedy Wardhana on percussion, and Aci on drums. Steven is also the older brother of famous Indonesian singer Micky AFI.
