If you have a legitimate Steam copy but the English option isn't appearing in menus, you can force the game to launch in English:

If characters move their mouths but no sound comes out, the game engine cannot find the designated audio pointers. Click your in the top right corner and select Settings
Look for a file named common_de.streamed (German), common_fr.streamed (French), common_es.streamed (Spanish), or common_it.streamed (Italian). These are large files, usually several gigabytes, representing the full voiceover for that language.

By renaming your existing localized audio file to that specific name, you trick the game into loading that audio track when you expect English.
