This is the most popular and stable tool for NFSU2. Developed specifically for modding EA's Black Box NFS games, it allows you to open the vinyl archives, export textures, and import new ones. The program is better to use for NFSU2 than BinTex, but it is not entirely immune to crashes (CTDs), which are often caused by incorrect texture formats or dimensions.

Unlike modern games with DLC, NFSU2 does not natively contain Brian O’Conner’s iconic blue/silver stripe vinyl. The default game vinyls are generic. Therefore, “download” refers to a —not an official file. You are downloading a custom .dds or .tga texture file and an accompanying .bin configuration.

To install the mod, you must access the root folder where your game is installed.

Before downloading the vinyl, you must install specific modding tools. NFSU2 stores textures in compressed game files, which cannot be opened without specialized software.
