The Looney Tunes Show - Season 2 ✰

When The Looney Tunes Show first debuted on Cartoon Network in 2011, it faced immense skepticism. Warner Bros. Animation was attempting the unthinkable: taking chaotic, anarchic, theatrical short-form characters from the Golden Age of animation and dropping them into a contemporary, suburban sitcom format. Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck were now roommates in a California suburb, navigating DMV lines, awkward dinner parties, and neighborhood politics.

The second season contains many memorable episodes. Here is the complete list, based on the official broadcast order:

Just like the first season, Season 2 integrates musical segments and computer-animated shorts to break up the sitcom narrative. Merrie Melodies The Looney Tunes Show - Season 2

Season 1 relied heavily on the novelty of its premise, occasionally leaning on standard sitcom tropes to ground the characters. Season 2, however, broke free from traditional sitcom constraints. The writers realized that while the setting was domestic, the characters still possessed their inherent, larger-than-life cartoon logic.

In Season 2, Lola moves from being a side character to a central comedic powerhouse. Her interactions with Daffy, her bizarre relationship with her wealthy parents, and her uncanny ability to completely derail Bugs' sanity make her the undisputed breakout star of the entire series. Wiig’s vocal performance lifts every scene she is in, turning Lola into one of the funniest characters in modern animation. 4. Expanding the Ensemble Cast Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck were now roommates

A narcissistic, chaotic roommate who schemes constantly to achieve fame or fortune with minimal effort.

Originally introduced in the 1996 film Space Jam as a generic, capable love interest, Lola Bunny was completely rewritten for this series. Voiced by Kristen Wiig, Lola is a fast-talking, eccentric, and obsessively delusional force of nature. In Season 2, her relationship with Bugs evolves, and Wiig’s brilliant improvisational comedic timing cements Lola as the standout character of the entire series.
