The serial follows an archaeologist (played by ) who arrives in a remote hilly area with his students. There, he encounters a Siddhar (a sage) who appears in the form of a snake and learns startling truths about his own childhood. The narrative revolves around the Karkoda Kakeswarar temple at the foot of the mountain, where locals believe that every full moon night, a snake-sage comes to worship. The village has a strict rule: no one should attempt to see the snake after 8:00 PM, as many who have tried lost their sight or even their lives.

The story revolved around mistaken identities, revenge, and a high-stakes game of cat-and-mouse with a menacing villain played by Aadi Saikumar. Supporting roles included Deeksha Seth and Meenakshi Dixit, with a special appearance by the late, great actor Kota Srinivasa Rao.
